PCP in the Community

Making a practical difference to the businesses we work for is the core philosophy of Practical Change People. That is our commercial goal.

But we also want to apply that goal to our involvement with the Cornish community in which we operate and we aim to apply the benefits of our management team’s expertise to make a difference.

Practical Change People is actively involved in several Cornish organisations:

The Cornwall 100 Club

The Cornwall 100 Club is a corporate philanthropy fund managed by The Cornwall Community Foundation. It is a vehicle for businesses in Cornwall to give effective, targeted funding to grassroots organisations and projects in their local communities.

Members of The Cornwall 100 Club make an annual donation to The CCF of at least £1,000, for a minimum of three years, of which half is used to support local needs through grants decided by the Cornwall 100 Club panel and administered by The CCF, one quarter is invested in The CCF endowment fund.

The income of the fund will be partly used to make ongoing grants to people in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly forever, and one quarter is used to support The CCF itself, including the development of new funds targeting key issues within Cornwall.

Practical Change People is a supporter of the Cornwall 100 Club.
